New Autorola Solutions used car inventory platform improves speed to market
Autorola UK has launched a new used vehicle inventory platform which helps dealers speed up and improve their used car vehicle preparation processes to ultimately sell more used cars.
The Solutions platform focuses on getting used cars on physical and online forecourts more quickly by tracking each stage of the vehicle preparation process from a car being bought by a dealer, arriving on site, being refurbished, or repaired and going up for sale. It gives the entire dealer team visibility of each stage of the used car preparation process to ensure cars are being proactively managed in partnership with the bodyshop and parts departments, and external supply chain. With a single platform overview, it enables dealers to improve their current preparation processes to further reduce the time it takes each vehicle to get to market.
Autorola’s Solutions platform is already available in other European markets and dealers are halving the time it takes between buying a used car and it going on sale, which is increasing sales by up to a third.
“Dealers told us that one of their biggest challenges was the tracking and transparency of the used vehicle preparation process. Challenges with cross department communication and multiple software platforms in use within the dealer also meant accountability was a problem. Solutions addresses all these issues, and we look forward to working with dealers to help them sell more used cars more quickly,” explained Jon Mitchell, Autorola UK’s group sales director.
Autorola has appointed Luke Statter to lead the Solutions team as national business development manager and has already started demonstrating the platform to dealers.
He joins from Carwow where he was partnership account director and before that he was a business development manager at VW Financial Services.
